R&D Vehicle Systems (RDVS) was established in 2004 to provide an electrical design consultancy and prototyping service to the automotive industry.
Using our many years experience in the industry we provide support for manufacturers at every stage of the product design and development process, from pre-study to product launch.
We have successfully delivered projects varying in scope from military vehicle EMC consultancy projects, military vehicle, niche sportscar and racecar electrical system designs to the design and supply of complete high and low voltage systems for electric cars.
In 2005 our sister company R&D Vehicle Components (RDVC) was created in order to research, design and manufacture products for our customers, supplying more than 1000 electronic control units in it's first 12 months of business. It has now established itself as a leading supplier of components in the electric vehicle field, providing high voltage power distribution units, CAN interfaces / gateways and high voltage controllers for several OEM projects.
