Pete
Baker started his career in the automotive industry in 1977,
completing an apprenticeship during which he gained experience in
all aspects of automotive engineering.
His experience has been varied: Commercial Vehicles, Race Cars, Road Cars, Quadricycles and Amphibians. He joined Jaguarsport (TWR Engineering) in 1988 intially as Production Supervisor for the build of the Jaguarsport XJR-S and XJR-3.6 cars and then through career progression to Principal Electrical Engineer taking lead electrical roles in a number of projects including: Renault Laguna and Quadricycle, Holden Utility Vehicle and a TWR own branded quadricyle. Other projects there in which he was heavily involved included, Aston Martin DB7 (EDS), Volvo C70 Convertible, Renault Clio(EMS) and Saab Viggen 93(OBD II).
After leaving TWR in 2003 he joined Gibbs Technologies before joining RDVS, becoming a director in June 2005.
